In ancient Egypt Cinnamon was used both as a spice and medicine. It has a reputation to cure colds and has also been used to treat diarrhea and other problems of the digestive system.
Today Cinnamon is utilized in the kitchen as a condiment and flavoring material for sweets, beverages, and honey but also in savory dishes of chicken and lamb.
